Handbook on Shrinking Cities
In oktober 2022 verscheen ‘Handbook on Shrinking Cities’ (Edward Elgar Publishing). Maja Ročak, lector Sociale Veerkracht bij Fontys en programmaleider onderzoek bij Neimed, schreef twee hoofdstukken voor deze publicatie:
- ‘The language of shrinking cities: terminology and translation to describe a new urban regime’ (Emmanuèle Cunningham Sabot and Maja Ročak)
- ‘Understanding the role of social capital in regenerating shrinking cities: insights from the Netherlands’ (in dit hoofdstuk worden Gebrookerbos en Stadslab Heerlen als case studies geanalyseerd)
